SAIC Motor Passenger Vehicle Company (SAIC Motor PV) under the umbrella of SAIC Motor (600104.SH) has officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with MEITUAN-W (03690.HK), under which both parties will leverage their respective resources and strengths to promote deep integration of online and offline services, enrich user service experience through digitalization, and jointly create a comprehensive automotive business ecosystem covering the entire lifecycle, Chinese media outlet Caijing.com.cn reported. According to the cooperation agreement, SAIC Motor PV will engage in extensive collaboration with Meituan across multiple areas covering every aspect from test drives and car purchases to the aftermarket. Over 600 dealerships of SAIC Motor PV will be integrated into the Meituan platform, so that product information and promotional activities will be displayed through the online stores on the platform.
