PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) faced a substantial fine in China last year due to the audit controversy involving EVERGRANDE (03333.HK). Following the loss of numerous state-owned enterprise clients earlier, 16 Hong Kong-listed companies have terminated their contracts with PwC in the past month, resulting in a loss of annual fees totaling RMB330 million, according to Reuters.

Among those Hong Kong-listed companies were LI NING (02331.HK), LINK REIT (00823.HK), AIA (01299.HK), XINYI GLASS (00868.HK), and XINYI SOLAR (00968.HK).
