NEW WORLD DEV (00017.HK) is raising $87.5 billion for refinancing a loan agreement waiver maturing at the end of June, Bloomberg News quoted sources as saying. The Group invited over 50 banks to provide refinancing, and at least 12 banks have committed to make loans, involving over $35 billion, reaching about 40% of the required amount.
