The China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) announced the latest results of the Vehicle Inventory Alert Index (VIA), which came in at 52.7 in May 2025, down 5.5 ppts YoY and 7.1 ppts MoM. Although the VIA remained above the 50 boom-or-bust line, both YoY and MoM declines show that the prosperity of the auto circulation industry is gradually improving, with signs of recovery in the auto market.
