The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced its intent to revoke the license of HKT-SS (06823.HK), a subsidiary of PCCW (00008.HK), to provide telecommunications services in the US. The FCC has issued an Order to Show Cause requesting HKT-SS to provide justification why the revocation process should not proceed. HKT-SS said that it is carefully reviewing the FCC's Order to Show Cause issued on 15 October to fully understand the situation. It will appropriately respond to the relevant authorities and are committed to doing its utmost to fulfill its responsibilities to all stakeholders.
