BABA-W (09988.HK)'s Cainiao, announced that the Cainiao Hong Kong eHub Smart Air Cargo Center located in the South Cargo Precinct of Hong Kong International Airport recently underwent a comprehensive automation upgrade, officially adopting an automated palletizing system, becoming Hong Kong's first security pre-position warehouse to achieve full-process automation from security check to palletizing. Cainiao expected the automated palletizing machine to efficiently operate at a speed of grabbing one large package every 6 seconds, assisting in handling packages sent worldwide during the annual promotional season. This allows goods to be automatically palletized immediately after security checks, significantly reducing the time goods stay at the cargo terminal.
