In October 2025, Hong Kong's value of total retail sales, provisionally estimated at HKD35.2 billion, increased by 6.9% YoY, surpassing the market expectation of a 4.7% YoY rise, according to the Census and Statistics Department. The revised estimate of the value of total retail sales in September 2025 rose by 6% YoY.
